About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join their expanding team and make an immediate impact. You'll have client exposure and significant responsibility from day one, managing a diverse caseload of commercial property matters whilst receiving excellent support from senior colleagues. Commercial Property Lawyer Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive caseload of commercial property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, and development work
- Draft, review, and negotiate property agreements, leases, and related documentation to the highest professional standards
- Provide clients with practical, commercial advice on property-related matters ensuring clear and effective communication
- Assist in acquisition, development, and disposal of commercial properties including complex land development projects
- Conduct thorough due diligence and property searches to ensure smooth transaction progression
- Manage client relationships professionally whilst ensuring timely and efficient completion of all work
- Contribute actively to business development activities including marketing and networking initiatives
- Support training and development of legal assistants and apprentices within the team
Commercial Property Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, CILEX/FILEX Associate, or experienced Paralegal
- Minimum one year's experience in commercial property law
- Strong technical understanding of commercial property law with particular experience in development-related matters
- Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal, with strong client relationship management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment under guidance of senior colleagues
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with exceptional attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and understanding of business development principles
