Commercial Property Lawyer Responsibilities
- Manage own day-to-day workload effectively while maintaining high standards of client service
- Handle commercial property transactions including leases, secured lending, and landlord and tenant matters
- Manage buying and selling of freehold commercial properties and businesses
- Perform all work accurately, reliably, and in accordance with firm's risk management procedures
- Keep up to date with changes and developments in the firm's business relating to client relationships
- Promote new business ideas and contribute to business development initiatives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent face-to-face communication
- Inspire confidence with clients and colleagues across the firm
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional requirements
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs
Commercial Property Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Experience dealing with all aspects of commercial property law (or strong willingness to develop for NQs)
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency with legal software systems
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive when working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to inspire confidence with clients and colleagues
- Commitment to maintaining high professional standards
- Willingness to undergo DBS check as required for the position
