About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Property lawyer to join an expanding team comprised of lawyers with different levels of experience and broad specialisms. You'll manage your own caseload of purely transactional and commercial property matters, working across multiple offices with flexibility for home working. The position offers genuine autonomy for those with the confidence to manage files independently, while also providing the support and collaboration of an experienced team. Whether you're a generalist Commercial Property lawyer or bring specialist knowledge in niche areas, this role offers excellent scope to develop your practice and build strong client relationships within a supportive environment.
Commercial Property Lawyer Responsibilities
- Handling commercial property acquisitions and disposals for business clients and investors
- Advising on and drafting commercial leases for retail, office, and industrial properties
- Managing property finance transactions and secured lending matters
- Dealing with landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals and rent reviews
- Advising on development projects and property-related commercial agreements
- Handling sales and purchases of investment properties
- Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
- Dealing promptly with all client enquiries and correspondence
- Maintaining effective communication with partners and team members across multiple offices
- Working collaboratively within the Commercial team
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Contributing to the team's continued growth and development
Commercial Property Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor/Legal Exec with at least 3 years' PQE in commercial property law
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property transactions
- Demonstrable ability to manage files independently
- Enthusiastic, hard-working team player with excellent work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Confident in your abilities with strong client-facing skills
- Ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships
- Strong communication skills with commitment to prompt, clear responses
- Experience across a range of commercial property matters
- Proficiency with case management systems
- Ability to work effectively across multiple office locations and remotely
