About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Property lawyer to join a growing practice as a consultant. You'll manage your own diverse caseload of commercial real estate matters, working autonomously while benefiting from support from the managing partner and collaboration with colleagues who are experts in complementary practice areas. Working fully remotely from anywhere in the UK, the role offers genuine scope to develop the department further.
Commercial Property Lawyer Consultant Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of commercial property matters autonomously and flexibly
- Handling commercial property acquisitions and disposals for business clients
- Advising on and drafting commercial leases, licences, and tenancy agreements
- Supporting property development projects for commercial and residential developers
- Advising on buy-to-let and HMO property investments
- Managing property finance transactions and secured lending matters
- Liaising with clients, developers, investors, lenders, and other third parties
- Developing further work for the department through business development activities
- Undertaking marketing and networking as required to grow the practice
- Delivering outstanding client service in line with the firm's values
Commercial Property Lawyer Consultant Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with ideally 5+ years' PQE in commercial property
- Strong technical knowledge across commercial real estate transactions
- Experience with property development, commercial leases, and investment property matters
- Confident undertaking marketing and business development activities
- Up to speed with compliance requirements expected in a law firm
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Proficient with case management systems and technology
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
