About the Role
This role will see you managing a varied and engaging caseload of company and commercial matters, providing expert legal advice to a wide range of clients. You will play a key part in a thriving department with the opportunity to make a real impact, contribute to business development, and support the continued growth of the team. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues across different legal disciplines to deliver exceptional client service.
Company and Commercial Lawyer Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of company and commercial matters for a diverse client base
- Advising on a range of issues including commercial contracts, corporate transactions, restructuring and business matters
- Working collaboratively with other departments where matters overlap
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent client care
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives to help grow the department
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards at all times
Company and Commercial Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with experience in Company & Commercial Law
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to handle a varied caseload
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing work
- Commercially minded with a proactive, organised and professional approach
- Enthusiastic about career development and contributing to the growth of the department
