The Role
To support conveyancing fee earners across offices through digital dictation while progressing residential property transactions from instruction to completion. This office-based role offers genuine variety and development opportunities in a professional, friendly setting.
Conveyancing Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist with transactions from instruction through post-completion
- Prepare Contract Papers, deal with sale enquiries, and order searches
- Assist with exchanges, completions, and completion statements
- Prepare SDLT forms and manage Land Registry applications
- Handle client calls confidently and maintain accurate file records
- Provide reception cover when required
Conveyancing Assistant Requirements
- Previous conveyancing assistant/paralegal experience in residential property
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage busy workloads and work under pressure
- Confident communicator with professional telephone manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; case management software experience advantageous
- Proactive, flexible approach with positive attitude
