Their Dispute Resolution team is growing, and they’re looking for a driven lawyer to contribute to the firm’s development in this area.
Role Overview
As a Dispute Resolution Lawyer, you’ll work closely with the Head of the Dispute Resolution department, and other senior team members on a varied caseload. Initially, you’ll cover property litigation, contentious trusts and probate, and commercial and construction disputes, with the opportunity to specialise over time.
Dispute Resolution Lawyer Responsibilities:
- Handle a broad range of disputes, including landlord and tenant conflicts, easement and restrictive covenant disputes, boundary issues, property damage claims, and Party Wall Act cases.
- Work on contentious trusts and probate, as well as construction-related disputes.
- Provide support and supervision under the guidance of senior members in the dispute resolution team.
- Contribute actively to the team’s business development, networking with clients to build strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Deliver excellent client care, managing cases efficiently to meet client expectations.
Dispute Resolution Lawyer Requirements:
- Approximately 1-5 years of post-qualification experience, with litigation knowledge within the County Courts and/or the High Court.
- Experience across a range of disputes, such as landlord and tenant issues, easement disputes, boundary disputes, and contentious trusts and probate.
- A proactive, client-focused approach, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of client care.
- Strong teamwork skills, along with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Enthusiasm for networking and building client relationships.
- An eagerness to play an active role in the growth of the Dispute Resolution department.
