About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a general dispute resolution department, managing your own caseload across diverse contentious matters. You'll work on a broad range of disputes including employment, contentious probate, contract disputes, shareholder disputes, and property-related matters, with genuine autonomy and support.
Dispute Resolution Lawyer Responsibilities
- Managing own day-to-day caseload effectively
- Performing work accurately and reliably in accordance with firm's risk management procedures
- Keeping up to date with changes and developments in areas of law
- Building and maintaining network of contacts and referrers
- Providing high-quality legal advice to clients
- Managing cases through litigation and alternative dispute resolution
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
Dispute Resolution Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Employment disputes
- Inheritance Act and Contentious Probate
- Contract disputes
- Civil procedure
- Shareholder and Partnership disputes
- Debt collection
- Construction disputes
- Housing/landlord and tenant disputes
- Boundary disputes
- Broad experience and strong technical ability
- Ability to manage own caseload effectively
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Commitment to risk management procedures
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
