About the Role
You will manage a varied caseload of litigation and dispute resolution matters independently, spanning landlord and tenant, commercial disputes, contentious probate, and more. You'll be part of a supportive team with real scope to contribute to business development as the firm grows.
Dispute Resolution Paralegal Responsibilities
- Supporting a varied caseload of litigation and disputes matters
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence and settlement agreements
- Conducting legal research and preparing client advice
- Representing clients in negotiations and ADR processes
- Preparing cases for court and attending hearings where required
- Supporting colleagues on complex matters and contributing to team development
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development activity
Typical Areas of Work Will Include
- Residential and commercial landlord and tenant
- Contract, boundary, shareholder and partnership disputes
- Construction disputes
- Contentious probate
Dispute Resolution Paralegal Requirements
- Experienced Paralegal with a proven track record of supporting relevant cases
- Strong technical knowledge of dispute resolution and litigation
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to manage a caseload proactively and meet deadlines
