About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Lawyer to join our expanding team. The position is primarily based in Poole, with potential for placement in other regional offices, including Blandford.
Family Lawyer Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of matrimonial and family law matters
- Provide expert legal advice to clients experiencing complex family situations
- Prepare and present compelling legal documentation
- Conduct court hearings and client consultations with professionalism and empathy
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and practice marketing efforts
- Maintain accurate time recording and meet billing targets
- Utilise advanced case management and digital dictation systems
- Demonstrate high levels of confidentiality and diplomatic communication
Family Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Family Law
- 2-5 years post-qualification experience (Newly Qualified candidates with relevant experience may be considered)
- Proven experience in matrimonial matters, including financial settlements
- Strong advocacy skills with court hearing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple cases effectively
- High level of professional integrity
- Adaptable and resilient professional approach
- Own transportation and residence within one hour of office locations
