About the Role
This is a key position within a successful and growing Family team. You will handle a broad range of family law matters, with a particular focus on complex and high-value matrimonial finance work.
In addition to managing your own caseload, you will play an active role in business development, team mentoring, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the department.
Family Lawyer Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of family law matters
- Providing expert, strategic legal advice tailored to individual client needs
- Leading on high-value and complex financial remedy cases
- Maintaining excellent standards of client care
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Actively contributing to business development and networking activities
- Collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless client service
- Supporting the ongoing growth and strategic direction of the team
Family Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (with practicing rights)
- Significant experience in family law
- Strong technical expertise in matrimonial finance matters
- Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
