About the Role
You will join a successful Private Family team, managing a varied caseload with a strong focus on matrimonial finance matters. The role also offers exposure to a broad range of private family work, providing an excellent platform for continued professional development.
You will play an important role in the ongoing growth of the department, working closely with colleagues while also having the autonomy to manage your own matters.
Family Lawyer Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters, including:
- Matrimonial finance
- Divorce and separation
- Cohabitation disputes
- Private children matters
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Handling complex and high-value financial cases
- Providing clear, sensitive, and commercially focused advice to clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting the growth and profile of the Family department
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
Family Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- A minimum of 4 years’ PQE in Family Law
- Strong technical knowledge of matrimonial finance and private children work
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach
