About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic Investment and Development practice within a highly regarded Real Estate group. You'll work on diverse and complex deals involving commercial land across retail, industrial, telecoms, and office sectors. You'll have the opportunity to work on large-scale multidisciplinary projects, collaborating closely with Corporate, Banking & Finance, Litigation, Projects & Construction, and Energy & Sustainability teams.
Investment and Development Solicitor Responsibilities
- Handling all types of property transactions for developers, investors, and public and private sector bodies
- Managing sales and acquisitions of commercial land and property
- Conducting due diligence and title assembly on regeneration projects
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals for public sector and registered provider clients in the affordable housing sector
- Project managing complex matters and collaborating with specialist teams across the firm
- Running your own files and ensuring compliance with Lexcel procedures
- Building, maintaining, and initiating effective client relationships
- Complying with core competencies appropriate to your level of qualification
- Actively participating in marketing initiatives and firm-wide and departmental training sessions
- Providing high-quality, commercially focused advice to clients
Investment and Development Solicitor Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in Real Estate
- Excellent technical skills with proven ability to take responsibility and manage matters independently where appropriate
- Strong client focus with commitment to exceptional service delivery
- Drive, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude
- Strong commercial awareness and credibility
- Solid academic record
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
