About The Role
As a Junior Administrator, you'll be a key part of the Conveyancing team. You will keep things running smoothly behind the scenes while being the friendly first point of contact for clients. You'll work closely with experienced Conveyancers and be supported by modern case management tech, so you won't be thrown in at the deep end.
This is an office-based role at their Taunton site, perfect for someone who wants to build a solid foundation in a legal setting.
Junior Administrator Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Conveyancing team with a range of administrative tasks
- Being the first point of contact for client enquiries (phone and written)
- Setting up new matters and producing instruction letters
- Helping with due diligence and Anti-Money Laundering compliance checks
- Drafting routine conveyancing documents and correspondence
- Keeping files organised and transactions moving forward
- Making sure quality and compliance standards are consistently met
Junior Administrator Requirements:
You don't need years of legal experience but you do need to be organised, switched on, and keen to learn.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- At least 6 months of admin experience within a professional services environment OR a recent Law degree and some relevant admin experience
- A sharp eye for detail and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to stay on top of multiple tasks without dropping the ball
- Confident IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- A professional, personable phone manner
- A genuine team-player attitude and a proactive approach to work
Experience in property or conveyancing? Brilliant! But it's not essential.
