About the Role
This is an office-based, full-time position offering an excellent foundation for those aspiring to build a career in Conveyancing. You'll work closely with their market-leading Conveyancing Services team, who focus on exceptional customer service backed by cutting-edge case management technology.
Legal Administrator Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Conveyancing team
- Act as first point of contact for enquiries, delivering excellent customer service to new and repeat clients
- Handle initial matter setup procedures including confirmation of instruction letters and updating central records
- Enter entities and capacities on each new client/matter file accurately
- Ensure all appropriate quality service and compliance standards are met for all matters
- Collate and complete due diligence to comply with Anti Money Laundering Regulations
- Manage routine client telephone enquiries, obtaining all required information for file opening requirements
- Draft relevant documents and manage client queries throughout the conveyancing process
- Support the team in ensuring housing transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently
- Contribute to the exceptional customer service standards that define the team
Legal Administrator Requirements
- Prior experience working within an administrative function (essential)
- Experience of property transactions would be ideal but not essential
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Naturally organised with excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to working within a quality standard environment
- Strong IT skills with ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent teamworking desire and collaborative approach
