About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading Conveyancing Services team as a Legal Administrator, playing a vital role in the successful completion of property transactions. You'll work closely with Conveyancers, acting as the first point of contact for client enquiries while managing administrative processes that ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Legal Administrator Responsibilities
- Providing efficient and effective administrative support to the Conveyancing team
- Acting as first point of contact for enquiries, delivering excellent customer service to new and repeat clients
- Managing initial matter set up procedures including production of confirmation of instruction letters
- Ensuring all appropriate quality service and compliance standards are met for all matters
- Collating and completing due diligence to comply with Anti Money Laundering Regulations where required
- Managing routine client telephone enquiries and obtaining all required information for file opening requirements
- Drafting relevant conveyancing documents and correspondence
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks to enable smooth transaction progression
- Contributing to the team's commitment to exceptional customer service
Legal Administrator Requirements
- Prior experience working within an administrative function (experience of property transactions would be ideal but is not essential)
- Naturally organised with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Commitment to working within a quality standard environment
- Strong IT skills with ability to become familiar with new systems quickly
- Excellent team working desire and ability
- Professional telephone manner with strong customer service skills
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Availability to work on a daily basis in the Taunton office (this is an office-based role)
