About the Role
You will manage your own caseload of litigation matters from instruction through to conclusion, providing clear and practical advice to clients across a range of contentious matters. Contentious probate experience is essential, with broader litigation experience across property, professional negligence and contractual claims also welcomed.
Litigation Lawyer Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of litigation matters from instruction to conclusion
- Drafting legal documents, witness statements and court pleadings
- Attending court hearings, case management conferences and client meetings
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in dispute resolution processes
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to deliver excellent outcomes
Litigation Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with minimum 5 years' PQE
- Contentious probate experience (essential)
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client care skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
- Proactive and organised approach to caseload management
Desirable
- Experience in property litigation, professional negligence and contractual claims

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and ambitious litigator with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and a strong contentious probate background. You'll be a confident advocate and communicator, comfortable managing a busy caseload across multiple locations and committed to delivering excellent outcomes for clients.
