Avocet Legal Careers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-established law firm based in the picturesque town of Launceston, Cornwall. Private Client Lawyer Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to Wills, Inheritance Tax planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Court of Protection, Deputyships, and Estate Administration.
- Draft tailored documents and letters to meet clients' specific needs and objectives.
- Negotiate and secure agreed outcomes with clients and other professionals.
- Oversee the successful implementation of agreements and coordinate involved parties.
- Supervise and mentor trainee solicitors and legal assistants.
- Stay current with legal developments through ongoing professional training (CPD).
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service.
Private Client Lawyer Requirements:
- You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years' PQE
- Proven experience in Private Client Law, including expertise in Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief claims (desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork capabilities and adaptability.
- Drive and enthusiasm for the private client sector.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and the SOS document management system (advantageous)
