About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and well-established Private Client team in Honiton. You'll manage your own caseload of wills, probate, and powers of attorney matters whilst contributing to the growth and development of the department. The role offers genuine support within a collaborative and friendly environment that values professional development.
Private Client Lawyer Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of Private Client matters including wills, probate, and powers of attorney
- Delivering high-quality, effective legal services across all areas of Private Client law
- Promoting and enhancing the reputation of the Private Client Department
- Contributing to the growth and development of the department
- Maintaining excellent client care and file administration
- Working independently on Private Client matters
- Conducting home visits when required
- Travelling between offices as needed
Private Client Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years' PQE or minimum 3 years' experience managing a full Private Client caseload
- Experienced in all aspects of wills, probate, and powers of attorney
- Excellent organisational and client care skills
- STEP membership desirable but not essential
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (essential for home visits and travel between offices)
- Ability to work independently whilst being part of a team
