Role Overview
As a Property Solicitor within the Social Housing team, you will handle a varied caseload of property transactions while contributing to the firm's thriving social housing practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer to further develop their expertise in a supportive environment that promotes flexible working and career progression.
Property Solicitor Responsibilities:
- Manage sales and acquisitions of individual properties
- Support development site acquisition projects
- Handle site setup procedures for residential developments
- Draft and negotiate conditional contracts and options
- Prepare deeds of variation and commercial leases
- Process land transactions for commercial clients
- Contribute to team development initiatives
- Build and maintain client relationships
Property Solicitor Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (FCILEx) with 3+ years PQE
- Experience in general commercial property work
- Knowledge of development and land assembly processes
- Understanding of infrastructure and planning agreements
- Commercial lease experience advantageous
- Ability to manage caseload independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
