This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a Solicitor or a Legal Executive at NQ-2 years PQE with suitable housing management and litigation experience.
Our client is a well-regarded law firm with a thriving Property Litigation team in Exeter. They are seeking a confident and experienced individual to support the continued growth and development of their practice.
Property Litigation Lawyer Responsibilities:
- Work directly with partners in the Property Litigation team
- Provide day-to-day line management and support to a team of paralegals and junior solicitors
- Handle cases related to social landlord and housing management issues
- Focus on defending disrepair claims and statutory nuisance claims
- Take a high degree of responsibility for cases from the outset
- Play a key role within a growing, supportive, and friendly team
Property Litigation Lawyer Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or an experienced Litigation Executive/Manager
- Significant litigation experience in housing management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Empathetic approach to handling sensitive matters
- Previous experience in managing junior colleagues is desirable
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Resilient and able to cope with stressful and demanding situations
- Tenacious and thorough with good commercial judgement
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to take on high levels of responsibility
