About the Role
This full-time permanent position (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) offers the opportunity to join their expanding Investment Property team. You'll be handling a wide range of investment property matters while supporting both Commercial and Residential teams. Property Paralegal Responsibilities
- Manage own day-to-day caseload of investment property matters from start to file closure
- Handle real estate acquisitions, portfolio management, and landlord and tenant work
- Manage development and disposal transactions across various property types
- Draft legal documents and research/problem solve complex property issues
- Keep current with changes in legislation and industry developments
- Market the team and contribute to bringing in new business opportunities
- Maintain existing referral relationships and build network of contacts
- Work with legal assistants and apprentices, contributing to their development
- Assist with training team members and colleagues within the firm
- Represent the firm's ethos and maintain professional standards at all times
Property Paralegal Requirements
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant with property experience
OR
- A property paralegal with proven experience
- Strong technical ability in property law with proven track record
- Ability to manage own caseload effectively while working to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder liaison
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
- Commitment to keeping up-to-date with legal and industry changes
- Professional approach to representing the firm and its values
