Residential Conveyancer Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
- Handle Freehold & Leasehold Sales and Purchases, New Build, Remortgages, Transfer of Equity, and Shared Ownership
- Conduct ID checks, source of funds verifications, and gift deposit assessments
- Issue contracts and manage mortgage redemptions
- Oversee exchange of contracts
- Order and report on searches, titles, leases, and raise associated enquiries
- Work collaboratively with other Conveyancers to drive departmental growth
Residential Conveyancer Requirements:
- Proven experience in Residential Conveyancing
- Confidence in written and verbal communications
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in managing own caseload and developing business opportunities
- Proficiency with case management systems and online platforms (e.g., SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- IT proficiency
- Commitment to ongoing training and development
