About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to join their expanding conveyancing team and make an immediate impact. You'll have client exposure and significant responsibility from day one, managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions whilst working alongside experienced colleagues who provide expertise across the full spectrum of conveyancing matters. Residential Conveyancing Lawyer Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance throughout the conveyancing process
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documentation to the highest professional standards
- Communicate complex legal matters clearly and effectively to clients in everyday terms
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information
- Maintain high standards in processing client work, adhering to professional standards and client care requirements
- Comply with agreed practice procedures, quality standards, Solicitors' Accounts Rules, Lexcel, and CQS requirements
- Control matter finances with particular regard to cash flow through prompt collection of monies on account and billing procedures
- Monitor and help develop systems and procedures within work areas, including effective use of technology
- Promote the firm's services and develop personal professional connections
Residential Conveyancing Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Fee Earner with proven conveyancing expertise
- Substantial experience in residential conveyancing matters
- Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property transactions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex legal matters in accessible terms
- Outstanding drafting and negotiating abilities
- Proven track record of managing individual caseloads effectively
- Commercial awareness with understanding of practice development and client relationship management
- Professional, organised, competent, enthusiastic, and ambitious approach
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
- Experience in marketing and practice development would be welcomed
