About the Role
You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, handling a broad range of transactions across freehold, leasehold, re-mortgage, transfer of equity and new build properties.
Residential Property Lawyer Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions
- Maintaining strong client relationships through regular updates and clear communication
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently
- Ensuring compliance with AML, CQS and SRA regulatory requirements
- Using case management systems and maintaining accurate file records
Residential Property Lawyer Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' PQE
- Thorough understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
