About the Role
You will join a team of highly experienced Land Lawyers, managing a full caseload of residential property and land matters from instruction through to post-completion. You will work with autonomy while contributing to the wider team, and there is likely scope to provide guidance to support staff and less experienced fee earners.
Residential Property Lawyer Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential property and land matters from instruction to post-completion
- Working to time recording and billing targets with a high degree of independence
- Providing guidance and support to team members and support staff
- Utilising case management and digital dictation software
- Networking and contributing to the marketing and development of the practice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Residential Property Lawyer Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years' PQE
- Good overall working knowledge of residential property and land law
- Proven ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- High level of initiative and professional integrity
- Reliable, conscientious and pleasant demeanour
- Own transport (car)
Desirable
- Business development experience including social media
- Broader knowledge of land law work
- Local connection to the area
